More On Imitation Kinesio Tapes

As I said in the previous post, a few of the participants from the course brought along their copy cat (or imitation tapes) during the course.

So we put them to the test. The material, texture, elasticity. the wave and the weave all differ somewhat with some brands more obvious than others of course.

So what's the verdict? Well, according the the participant in the photos below who was taped with both the original Kinesio Tex tapes and the imitation tapes, the original Kinesio Tex tapes felt better, decreased pain etc.

Hey, I only did the taping (so as to be consistent, as in a proper research), the participant and the patient's (which means you) views will be much more important.

So please insist whoever is treating you with Kinesio tapes use the original for best results if they need to use Kinesio tapes.

Here are some of the pictures.
